It was near the beach.
The hotel is very close to the Indiana Dunes beach and easy to find, which is nice. The rooms were overall fairly clean and the staff was as accommodating as they could be. We had a quiet night and were able to go out eraly the next morning.

Nothing.
Everything.
I tried to contact you through your customer service hot-line and email, both failed. The hotel and room smelled like liquor, the bed linens in a non-smoking room had burn holes; the hotel and room were filthy.

I was able to get into my room quickly. It was clean, quiet and decent.
Ceiling panels missing in the bathroom.
I have stayed at this Econolodge during my visits to Chesterton and feel quite satisfied with their efforts. A simple breakfast assortment is appreciated. It has been quiet during my last three stays there. I appreciate that they do not make questionable television channels available. This hotel is close to several dining spots and is near a pharmacy and grocery store. I intend to return there upon my next visit. read more

NOTHING!
It was VERY DIRTY, VERY outdated, the employees were dirty and unfriendly.
I was totally disappointed to arrive at the hotel and be greeted by the unfriendly desk clerk. The worst thing was how DIRTY this hotel was! I was totally appalled by the built up filth! The hotel was very outdated, which I didn't mind, but I have never stayed at a hotel that was so DIRTY, UNKEPT, and UNFRIENDLY! I will NEVER stay at an Econo Lodge again!

I liked nothing about this hotel.
Billed twice, room was dirty. Hotel employee entered room while we were sleeping, no hot water.
I would never stay there again as it was a dirty hotel with holes in the sheets and the carpet was filthy. A hotel employee walked in the room without knocking while our family was asleep they advertised a continental breakfast which consisted of stale donuts. Also no hot water for showers and the ceiling in the bathroom was about to fall in. We asked for clean towels the second day and didn't get any so had to hunt down the hotel staff to get fresh towels. No iron or hair dryers in the room. It smelled and I was very disappointed in the hotel. read more
