Breakfast was awesome.
Baby's crib was smoky.
The hotel is getting old and in need of updates. Our glass sliding door looked like someone had tried to break in before and there was a huge breeze coming through. Okay for early September when it warm but would have been a real problem in winter. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Our biggest complaint was that we asked for a non-smoking room with a crib for a son. The playpen they provide had been used in a smoking room before it made the whole room smell and his blankets were dirty I felt bad that he had to sleep in it. read more

Location within the city of Muscatine.
Concern for our safety.
Hotel is run down. Hotel does not qualify for any star rating. Non hotel guests at bottom level of hotel/bar were very loud and unruly in their behavior, parking lot was over crowed, inside/outside of hotel was old and worn out and generally dirty.

The refrigerator and toaster were nice. Parking right next to room was convenient.
There was no coffee maker in the room and no hairdryer. The front desk clerk was indifferent.
The kids liked the theme (castle) of the hotel, and of course the pool. The fountain was cool. The free breakfast makes up for the lack of coffee maker in the room. This hotel needs to be updated.

The breakfast that they served.
Older motel which I already knew.
It was inexpensive and met all my needs.
