Unclean, unfriendly, lack of amenities, and overpriced.

We found the rooms to be outdated, and unclean. Also found the amenites were few. No shampoo or soap, but had a coffee maker and a hair dryer that I think my grandmother owned in 1954. Heat didn't work, and neither did the remote for the TV. We asked for new batteries and they pulled 2 out of a drawer and put them in, and they didn't work either. As we were loading the car, we still had some of our belongings in the room and found the maids were already in the room, tidying up. Overall, unpleasant stay and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

Close to Wartburg College. Friendly front desk personnel.
No restaurant or bar which were in brochure.

Would stay there again. Plenty of towels. Holes in the top sheet. Perhaps new linens.

I liked that I used my own bedding and not the hotel's bedding because it was disgusting.
Non-working AC, bugs, ring around bathroom tub, broken toilet seat, stains on bed and chairs.

I typically do not write reviews of the hotels I stay in but after staying in America's Best Value Inn in Waverly, IA, I feel compelled to in an effort to prevent others from staying there. First, the hotel is old and it appears that nothing has been done to renovate it in at least ten years. The entire hotel is very musty as you walk in and it never gets any better. The guy running the desk was too occupied with whoever was on the phone as he never actually spoke to us, he just handed us a key and wrote the number on the card. The set up for the hotel is baffling as we stayed on floor 3 but we had to go down in the elevator (which barely functioned and had no certificate) and our room was on the ground floor. The room itself is bad. The beds and chairs are stained and I didn't want to investigate what it could be stained with. Luckily, we brought our own bedding. The air conditioning in the room didn't function properly as it basically blew around the warm air in the room. The bathtub was disgusting as it had a ring around as if it hadn't been cleaned for a year. The toilet seat was broken as well. read more

The lobby area was pleasant and the hotel room was fine. It was clean.
Extended stay individuals had their towels and sheets and garbage in the hallway. No cameras in corridors.

The hotel staff was pleasant. The room was clean. I wouldn't recommend it for and extended stay, but for a couple of evenings it's fine.

It was clean.
Security doors did not work correctly.

This motel was a decent motel for the price.

Typical run down motel that I predict will be out of business within a year unless significant upgrades are made.

Noisy, carpet torn and dirty, smelled like mold was present, bathroom was dirty and run down, air conditioning did not work.
