If you are looking for a clean friendly economy hotel in Lawrence near the University of Kansas, you found it. Days Inn is conveniently located within blocks of the University of Kansas. Non-Smoking rooms are available upon request. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Rooms were well worn. Bathrooms were in dis-repair. Not a very good selection at breakfast.

Good place for a short stay for people doing outdoor activities not worried about a clean comfortable stay. Average coffee and poor breakfast. Comfortable beds.

Lobby smelled like BO and room smelled like cigarettes even though non - smoking.

Would only recommend to someone tight on budget needing a good location and wireless. Check in & check out was easy because of priceline, but there were weird people hanging around outside the hotel rooms. One of the clean towels had a hair on it, carpet still had crumbs on the floor and also on and in bed. Actually ended up sleeping on top of it with my own blanket. Woke up with congestion due to smoke previously in the room even though non-smoking. Supposedly it was renovated, but definitely not enough to make someone want to stay there. Cable was fuzzy, probably from being split between rooms or something. read more

It was in a location close to food, grocery, and also downtown.
I was supposed to get a smoking room and they changed it when we got there. The room was very small and it had said there was a fridge but there wasn't.

Great value for the money, very clean.

This hotel was very clean and had the amenities to be expected. Very large TV and mini-fridge in room were a nice touch.
