Welcome to Wichita, KS. We are pleased to be at your service. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel is located on the south side of Wichita near Derby. We are also located by Interstate 35 and Highways 135 &235. Our 52 guest rooms are newly renovated and are perfect for any business or leisure traveler. In the morning help your self to our complementary Continental Breakfast served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM featuring Holiday Inn Express signature line cinnamon rolls. All of our rooms are non-smoking and have King or Queen size beds. We do have wireless high speed internet, and a indoor pool with hot tub for your relaxing needs. We are close to area attractions: The Sedgwick County Zoo, Rock River Rapids, and Old Town. There are many near by businesses including Spirit and Pepsi. We are also close to many area Restaurants like Applebees, Hog Wild BBQ, and Carlos O Kelly's. No matter what brings you to Wichita, the Holiday Inn Express is the place to stay for your lodging needs! Upkeep is not what I would expect/public areas need cleaning.

Before retiring I traveled for 40 years and stayed at many HI motels but this one will not be on my list or returns. Personnel were friendly enough but not overly so. Room was clean but pretty worn and unattractive. Public areas badly needed improvement. Pool water was not properly maintained and clear.

Friendly staff, hot tub, indoor pool, clean rooms.
Huge spider in our room, staff wouldn't get it so I had to with a plastic cup!

Rooms were a bit small but at least they were clean! Cont breakfast was decent. On the first day we were there they had no drinks so we had to buy $1.50 pops for breakfast. Nice staff. Clean pool. Overall trip was actually not that bad, I was impressed.
