Very small.

The Microtel's I have stayed in before were excellent. This one seemed small, cramped and had no continental breakfast to speak of. It wasn't of the quality I am used to in Microtel's.

Friendly front desk staff.
Thin walls, phones down, broken clock.

This hotel was acceptable for a one-night stay. The room was small and there was a lot of noise in the hallway. I couldn't call the front desk though because the phone lines were down. I also couldn't get a wake up call for the same reason, although the alarm clock wasn't working either.

Microtel is right off of I-65 and next door to Cracker Barrel.
It's an older hotel and the rooms are very tiny.

This hotel is just what it's name suggests: tiny. It's good for those traveling on a budget. My room was small, but clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The room included a coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. There's free wireless and a complimentary continental breakfast.

I tried to check in at 0630 but was told to come back at 0900, at 0900 I was told to come back at 1200, and again at 1200 was told I could not check in prior to 3pm or there was an early check in charge of $15.00 ?????This was an advanced pre paid why wasn't the room ready, and what in the world is an early check in fee, I reserved for July 17, but cannot check in until 3pm???Also the name of the Hotel _MICROTEL" says it all THe room was only 1 foot LARGER THAN THE BED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHAIN, THE EMPLOYEES WERE RUDE AND UNRESPOSIVE Hated this place and will never return period, give it NEGATIVE 5 Stars read more

Apparently, this hotel is not in the hospitality business.

Front desk staff were disrespectful and untrained in the necessary art of hospitality. Hotel franchise owner was indifferent to our complaints, and Microtel Inc.
