The staff friendliness.
We found a roach in our room and the bedding left a lost to be desired.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn express many years ago and it was excellent. However, it has really declined in overall appearance.

The rooms were clean. Fridge and microwave in room very helpful.
No elevator for 2nd floor guests.

Convenient location. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Most important to me was the pet friendliness. Fridge and microwave in room was a huge plus.

Had some trouble getting a room that the air works.

The staff and hotel were excellent, the maintenance on the rooms left something to be desired, excellent value for price.

There was not an elevator, which made things difficult in making 1 trip to room from car.

If you are handicapped or expecting to make 1 trip from vehicle to room with luggage for more than 1 then this is not the place for you unless you are lucky enough to get a room on the 1st floor. Be sure to ask staff for what you are needing because even if you seem lost you will not receive assistance unless you request it.

It was quiet.
It didn't live up to the price of the room or the normal quality of a Holiday Inn.

The hotel was very run down and should probably be replaced. If rooms weren't so hard to find the night I was staying, I would have gone elsewhere.

Getting out of there - breakfast was good.
The room was disgusting, smokey and dirty.

I would never stay at this hotel again, the room (smoking) was so smelly that I had to sleep with a bottle of perfume just to get through it. There was a half eaten cookie and empty cigarette wrapper on the floor right next to my bed. I woke up constantly during the night because the smell was overwhelming and woke up in the morning feeling as though I had smoked a packet of cigarettes. I left the room extremely early and would have prefer to sleep in my car or in the hall way. Would never stay there again. read more

A small community, but this was located in a convenient location for me.
A funny smell in the room - may have been the cleaners used.

Staff was friendly, exceptionally nice complimentary breakfast. Good, quiet location for me.
