Days Inn - Hurstbourne

Don't stay here. I am not a hotel snob by any means and usually stay in the cheapest hotels I can find. This hotel was just plain dirty. The carpet was wet (turned my socks brown), there were strange pink stains on the pillowcases and the ceiling above the bed. There was old soap left in the shower from the last people, the fridge was broken and smelly, the room smelled like cigarette smoke (it was a nonsmoking room), the pool was dirty and the hot tub was broken (70 degree water). It was 2 blocks from the Holiday Inn, so everything worked out fine for me.

It was okay,
I wouldn't stay again.

The hotel was out dated, we had to change rooms twice because the rooms were not clean, we had a double bed and one of the beds was wet. The second room was a little better but not much.

The hotel has the conveniences of more expensive hotels. The amenities are outdated and in poor working order.

Have stayed here on here occassions before, but this was the first time that we did not like our room here. No T.V. remote in room. Beds were uncomfortable. Not happy at all. Will be the last time we stay at this hotel.

The staff was not helpful at all. The air unit in our room didn't work at all we had to open the window to get some kind of cool air in our room. We had to ask three times for a remote for the TV. We did not receive fresh towels on Saturday so we had to use the same towels all weekend. All night long all we heard were slamming doors and people yelling outside our room while the staff did nothing. I can safely say I will not be staying in that hotel again! read more
