I loved the character of the hotel.
Rooms were small and had to pay to park.
In all was a good hotel, was simple and basically a place to sleep, employees were very nice.

Hip hotel/bar, near trolley stops, comfortable beds, great staff, terrific view of Lee Circle, near restaurants.
Trolley noise, not in French Quarter, high valet fees.
We loved this hotel! We had a great view from the front of the hotel of the Lee Circle monument and the exterior lighting effects were really cool at night. The staff was first rate, with attentive valet service and wonderful restaurant recommendations. Hotel room and lobby atmosphere is modern, hip, colorful, and upscale. Rooms are smallish, but have great beds and granite bathroom counters. Valet parking is on the high side (around $30 per day), but service is timely. It is easy to get around town since hotel is one block or less from three streetcar stops. Great restaurant choices in any price range are within 4-6 blocks either direction on St Charles St and the hotel offers a trendy restaurant/bar with good food. Some squeaky noise from streetcars as they make the circle, but not too dreadful. Air conditioning worked very well in the room, but the secondary door lock was broken. All in all, we can't wait to return to this hotel. read more

Nice clean, modern comfy bed.
Small rooms, one elevator for whole hotel, horrible valet.
Nice but small clean and comfy rooms, the valet service was terrible, every time they said ten minutes and it was closer to 20-30, even first thing in the morning. If you dont want to valet your car it is a pretty good place to stay, right on Lee Circle.

It was clean and the staff was friendly!
The noise from the trolley over in the night and to expensive of a restuarant!
The hotel room was very small and the noise off the street and the trolley didn't allow us to sleep very well. There were no convenient places to eat near by. There was an expensive fee for parking your vehicle besides pay for the hotel stay! The best thing I can say about the hotel was that I liked its location, the room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They had knowledge of the area and were helpful with tours! read more

The ambiance.
No refrigerators in the rooms, ice machine too far away, and parking too expensive.

Helpful staff.
The $30 per day cost to valet park.
This is good alternative for 20 something on a tight budget who wants to party in New Orleans and use the hotel to crash. You have a car to park and intend to use the car while in New Orleans. It would work fine if you arrive by bus or train and plan to hang out in the French quarter and arts district.

Centrally located, basic, clean and friendly.
No bar, any parking for guests.
If you come into NOLA with no car this is the hotel for you! It is centrally located on the street car line and within walking distance of the quarter. There is a good breakfast place just 5 blocks down - Stop 9.
