Description of Americas Best Value Inn-Opelousas
Welcome to the Americas Best Value Inn of Opelousas, LA. We are conveniently located off of I-49 at exit 15/Harry Guilbeau Road for easy on and off highway access. Our 2-story inn features 66 nicely furnished guest rooms that offer such amenities as cable TV with HBO, microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and hairdryer. Our king suites offer a Jacuzzi tub for a romantic evening. Our hotel offers a complimentary deluxe breakfast, internet access data ports, and ample parking. We have 2 banquet/ meeting rooms on site as well. While staying at our hotel, come relax in our outdoor pool. We are in close proximity to Thoroughbred racing, Cajun activities and casinos. read more

Needs maintenance work and something to give it better curb appeal.

Older hotel in need of updates. Excellent wireless internet. Not very aesthetically appealing.

People friendly.
Continental breakfast, air conditioner in front window room was not cool.

I would not recommend to any one. This hotel was not comfortable. It's more for truck drivers not for families vacationing. I was truly disappointed.

The staff was friendly and professional.
My room could have been cleaned better.

The rates are cheaper in comparison to other area hotels. The location is safe, well lit and 10 minutes away from my family member's place of residence. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff made up for the lack of tidiness.
