Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms were very nice, modern decor. Dining room was pleasant. I would stay here again.

This hotel was bright and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Our room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable.

At every 7 hotel stays in the past year alone, I have been given the option of switching rooms for a different bed - configuration (in the same price range). For this trip, I was traveling with my mother, young son and husband. We were assigned a room with a king-sized bed. We requested two double beds. The hotel was not busy and they had several rooms with 2 double beds available (for the same price as a king-size, we heard the rates quoted to other guests). We tried working with the hotel and were told we would have to pay an extra $$ to get a room with 2 double beds. They offered us a cot instead. The cot sagged in the middle and felt like it would collapse and the room was very crowded with the addition of the cot. The night before, we stayed at a different Fairfield Inn (Portsmouth) and at check-in, they automatically asked if we would like to switch to another room-type (free of charge). This was a great value. The continental breakfast offered enough variety to make everyone happy.

Fantastic location - close to the Civic Center. Very quiet. A few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling near the guest lounge/continental breakfast area. Pool was very small and uninviting to adult guests. The kids that were in it seemed to enjoy it. I really liked how you needed a hotel key in order to access the pool and fitness area. Rooms were clean - though a few missed spots in the bathroom. read more

Modern, newly decorated, clean and the continental breakfast was tasty.

With the exception of a computer glitch with your credit card at check in everything was satisfactory.
