Located just two hours north of Portland, Midcoast Maine is quickly becoming a destination favorite. The Inn at Camden Place is a smaller, more intimate hotel with only 11 beautiful rooms furnished with your comfort in mind. Once part of a textile mill owned by J.A. Brewster, you can still see hints of the past in the Inns guest rooms with exposed wooden beams and views of the river that once powered the mills machinery. Rooms feature views of the river and village, fine linens, private bath with spa amenities, air conditioning and heat, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, phone, alarm clock, cable television and complimentary wireless internet access. Smaller standard rooms feature a full or queen bed and the larger deluxe rooms offer a king bed. Additional seating is available in every room with plenty of space for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Breakfast is also included for each guest at the Camden Bagel Cafe just next door to the Inn. A cozy common area is perfect for watching tv or making a cup of tea. Very friendly staff, nice clean room, located in walking distance of restaurants & waterfront, parking.

My wife and I spent 3 days at the hotel and were very pleased with the accommodations. The bed was very comfortable and the room looked as if it was recently furnished & painted. The staff was very friendly. Excellent restaurants and shops in walking distance of the Inn. All in all we had an excellent experience and plan on returning there next summer. I would recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a clean, friendly and quiet place to stay. read more

Great location close to downtown Camden.
No chairs or table in room - hard to use laptop.

This is an attractive hotel in a great location. The least expensive rooms are a little cramped with little or no seating and no desk or table. It was awkward trying to use our laptop on the bed. I would upgrade, as there seems to be seating in those rooms. An ice machine would be a good addition. It was nice to have breakfast in a nearby bagel shop included in the price - it's a nice spot! read more
