Relax in the cosy and comfortable atmosphere of this circa 1870 Federal style home, located on a quiet street in the Topsham Historic District, and right on the Androscoggin River and adjacent downtown Brunswick. Two rooms have water views. Off street parking. The Black Lantern features warm and gracious hospitality with period furnishings throughout, each of the three guest rooms has a private bath in the room. Black lantern is a small, quaint and charming B&B, ideally located for those desiring to tour mid-coast Maine. The house is immaculate, grounds attractive and very inviting if one cares to spend some time relaxing, overlooking the river - or sitting around firepit in the evening. The staff is most attentive and the food (breakfast) outstanding.
