"Take advantage of high tea at Brightons" say caffeinehounds who enjoy the "great bar and lounge" at this "family-friendly" chainster's new restaurant; the views of the Inner Harbor are "lovely", there's a "nice" indoor pool and hot tub, and the staff is generally "helpful", notwithstanding a few who say the service "isn't always up to par."

Great staff, everyone was helpful and friendly, highly recommend!
Wall paper was pealing, high humidity

The hotel was beautiful inside which was a bit of a contrast to the exterior. very unassuming on the outside, kind of nice since to go into an unassuming looking hotel . The staff was great, smiling and engaging. Great experience, my wife and I hope to return in the not too distant future.

Hotel staff was AMAZING
Dirty dishes from room service in halway in afternoon

First room was a smoking room and smelled disgusting so concierge got us another room within 5 minutes. New room was beautiful. Was surprised to see room service plates, glasses, and dishes in hallways so late in the afternoon.

The reception desk and door host
The middle of the week room cleanup was inadequate. Supplies were not ample for two people. The restaurant staff was poor.

On my way to my room I stopped by the restaurant to get two desserts to take to my room. After 20 minutes I finally spoke to the matre' de. After 10 more minutes I went to my room without anything. Unfortunately, this overshadowed the excellent performance of the lobby and desk personnel who were extremely helpful.
