Clean, modern amenities, excellent location close to BWI.
The hotel's BWI Airport shuttle was not regular, although it had a schedule.

Aloft Hotel is spanking clean, newly opened, very close to BWI Airport. The ambiance is very European, both in the common areas and in the rooms.

Bed is comfortable; free internet access is nice.
The music playing everywhere is annoying.

This is a hotel for young people, not for middle aged business travelers. There are no ice machines - you have to go to the lobby and get small bags of ice out of a refrigerator. The back door entryway was broken so that key cards would not open it, and it was necessary to park back there sometimes. There is no bell service, so you have to go get a cart and load your luggage yourself. read more

Need better food options and a jacuzzi/hot tub would be nice.

Nice new concept. Very nice contemporary design with today's needs in mind. I like the lobby atmosphere with a bar, table games, and a pool table. A unique approach that I have not seen in other hotels. Rooms were nice and flat screen TV was great along with console for connecting different devices. Also free WiFi and printing on their printer. I appreciate that they don't nickel and dime you for these services. That is a big deal for me. read more

Crazy that the cost of incidentals per night was more than I paid for the room itself.

I liked the hotel overall. The beds weren't as comfortable as I thought a 3 star hotel should have, but the room was "cool" and trendy and the staff was really nice

Sparkling clean, fresh colors, upbeat decor comfortable.

Go for a breath of fresh air; away from the common business hotel. Aloft is about comfort and convenience in a bright sleek environment. You'll find the perks you need with none of the same-old mindset. Shuttle service was fast. Fine location, excellent staff.
