Not a three star hotel compared to others in area. More equivalent to an off the road overnight facility.

Location was great.
It was VERY loud.

We were placed on the 2nd floor with a bunch of cursing loud college kids who did nothing but hang out in the hallways and yell and scream. Our room abutted a function room which was AWFUL, there was a Rotary breakfast there on our second to last day-it was loud at 5:30am for set up and then of course the meeting (speaker, laughter, etc). Housekeeping didn't come on two days. It was so bad, we checked out a day early. read more

The staff went out of their way to help me get tea bags for my bedtime tea!
Room cleanliness was questionable. Bed linens had stains. Tub needs updating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant seemed nice, even though we didn't use either. New carpet throughout. Bathrooms updated with the exception of the tubs. Spacious rooms that need to be cleaner (not sure if the few things I noticed were aberrations or not). Convenient location off the parkway. Nothing much in the immediate area. Would try the hotel again due to the great value and the fact that some of my concerns about cleanliness may have been an exception. Worth at least another try as I am in the area several times a year. read more
