The Colonnade Hotel opened in 1971 as an independent hotel in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. Over the past 35 years, the hotel has proudly met the needs of sophisticated travelers from all over the world. During that time, neither the hotel's commitment to excellence nor its ownership has changed - perhaps the secret of The Colonnade's success. The hotel quickly established a reputation for excellence that spread throughout country and even overseas. Through the years, The Colonnade Hotel has attracted such luminaries from the worlds of politics, entertainment, and sports such as Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Gerald Ford, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Shirley MacLaine, Harry Connick Jr., Val Kilmer, Matt Damon, Vanessa Williams, Mel Torme, Bill Russell, and Larry Bird. ...read more

Hotel Guest Reviews of the Colonnade Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very convenient & we liked having the restaurant on the premises.
Swimming pool closed!.

I was in Boston for the weekend with my 2 Middle School age sons.We had tickets to a performance @Berklee and the motel was about 1/2mi walk through a fairly safe part of the city.We enjoyed an incredible Sunday Brunch downstairs & explored the Prudential Center shops across the street. My discriminating guys are already talking about the next trip there!

Clean, comfort, and convenient.
There is no refrigerator in my room.

The hotel is located in the downtown area near convention center. It's convenient for shopping, food, and other activities.

Clean and comfortable.
Poor shower design. Floor would get completely wet every time you showered. Only one mirror in the entire room (rest room).

TOTALLY INACCESSIBLE POOL

Hotel was incredibly convenient right off the thruway and in the middle of many opportunities for visiting. Hotel staff was great except they did not see how easy it would have been to accommodate a person with their pool....when I called they said it was accessible but not with ladders and no steps. The room was small but accessible. The bathrooms were great!

The Colonnade is stylish and comfortable with personalized service.

We plan to return to the Colonnade as soon as possible. It is stylish, elegant, comfortable and clean. We received top of the line service from all employees. The roof top pool is not to be missed!
