Comfort Suites Haverhill

I will stay again.

I was in town for a funeral. After traveling about two hours to this hotel I was happy to find that my room was ready for check-in and proceeded to the room. The staff was cold - the only exception to that was the housekeepers were very nice.

Beautiful hotel, however, they need to have enough food on hand for the guest's breakfast since it is supposed to be included with the stay. Breakfast ended at 10 a.m., but most of the food was gone at 9 a.m., and 1 staff member was rude when asked if there was any extra that would be coming out. Otherwise I had a wonderful stay and would do so again.

Very nice hotel for stopping over on your way somewhere else. Room was good size with amenities like fridge, microwave, sitting area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall positive impression for price paid.

Bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep. Room otherwise adequate, free breakfast adequate.

Middle of the spectrum at best.

This hotel is definitely more of an economy hotel than any other comfort suites I have ever stayed in. The mattresses were hard and the pillows were terrible. There were way too few towels! This hotel is actually economy quality and I feel that to charge any more than the rate I paid would be unfair for the quality of room they offer. Upon arrival I was put in a room that had obviously been a smoking room (even the mattress smelled smoky) and they had recently decided to make it non-smoking. It had a temporary non-smoking label on the door. The entire floor the new non-smoking roil was on was dense with cigarette smoke. It was incredibly disgusting. After complaining the staff was nice and moved me to a new room on a new floor. The hotel is closely located to my destination and the hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel was excellent in most ways, but its 3-star rating was belied by the torn wallpaper, chipped paint, and old bath counter, fixtures, and floor.
