It is located very close to the ferry to Mackinac Island.
There were lots of spiders and spider webs outside the room!

This was an inferior Days Inn. We stayed in a Days Inn in Traverse City the next night which was very nice. Spiders and webs hanging from the roof of the outdoor walkway and outside our room, even at the corner of our doorway! Also found a small spider in the room. We spoke to the desk next morning. They'd had other complaints and said that it was being addressed that day. Otherwise the hotel room seemed clean, but badly needs to be renovated. read more

Staff was rude.

They tried to re-rent our pre-paid room and gave our key to others. Dirty, unkept, staff was rude as they come. We are filing a complaint with the state's attorney. Even after telling them I had used the room, and bathroom, they tried to re-rent it (and it was prepaid). Called Days Inn headquarters - they did nothing.

There were dirty towels behind the door. Was not kept up.

We felt that it was worn and run down and not well maintained. We did not feel it deserved a 2 star rating.

Location was close to everything in Mackinaw City.
It seemed run down. The shower didn't work. The room smelled horrible. The hair dryer was shorted out, but still plugged in.

I would not stay here again. The bathroom was horrible. Room smelled horrible and was dirty.

The room was cramped.

This motel wasn't bad for a crash pad. The room was small, especially the bathroom. Staff did respond fairly quickly when the hair dryer burned out. It's lobby is not handy as you have to go outside to get to the coffee and ice, etc.

This hotel had the worst service I have ever received.

The hotel is one of the farthest from downtown, the service was HORRIBLE from the first phone call, to our 4 requests for a crib, to our front desk experience, to the awful staff in the breakfast area. I can deal with substandard accommodations as long as there is even half decent customer service. The service here was so awful I strongly advise against staying here!

Very nice location, clean, friendly. Very close to the Arnold Ferry line whichi is the ferry that we use.

Location was great. You could ride a bike anywhere.
Things were broken and not very clean coffee pot was dirty when we checked in.

This hotel was okay. It would be a good place to stay if all you wanted was location. The air conditioner barely worked and you could see outside around it. It was very loud all you could hear a night was running water and other air conditioner units. Counter top in bathroom was breaking off the wall. The staff was so so they just weren't overly friendly.
