I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it was clean, seemed relatively new, friendly staff, everything was as advertised and in working order.

The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable.
They canceled our prepaid reservation and we had to call priceline to confirm after a long drive.

The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. It was frustrating to have our prepaid registration canceled after a very long drive to get there and then have to make calls to priceline to confirm for the hotel. (Thanks to priceline for getting us into our room) There never seemed to be anyone at the front desk. The bathtub leaked. The breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent continental breakfast.
Everything was great.

Brand new, so everything was very clean. The breakfast was great and hot items and a large selection which was constantly being restocked.

I eventually found it.
It's old, worn, dirty doors and walls.

This place was dirty, worn, difficult to find, no locks on the ground floor windows, the furniture smelled like the hundreds of others who sat on it, the ceiling over the bathtub was moldy, cracked and peeling off.

Brand new with tastefully done furnishings.
No complaints.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Howell Holiday Inn Express and will definately plan to stay there again when we go to visit our family in Howell. Very comfortable accomodations, everything neat and clean and a wonderful breakfast with a very helpful staff.
