Friendliness of initial front desk person.
Inability to get even a muffin early Sunday morning before leaving.

It's a better location in the Summer than now being right on the Marinas boardwalk. Locals we know rave about the restaurant, although we did not eat there. It's a typical Holiday Inn.

Hotel structure and hallways was old and falling apart.

The room was clean and nice, the hotel looked like it was very old and has not been updated.

This is an older Marina motel that has seen better days. While the rooms were clean, the space was small and the balcony barely wide enough or a chair with a view of the highway. The carpets in halls and elevators needed cleaning or replaced. Staff was more than accommodating and pleasant. I'd go back, but wouldn't eat in hotel.

It was quiet.
Hot water was out in the a.m. Couldn't shower!

This hotel was clean, but dated. Hot water was out in the a.m. I had to wash up with cold water in the sink. Holiday inn supposedly promises to "right" all problems. Initially I was told that this didn't apply to me since I had pre-paid.
