Our family enjoyed the pool tremendously and the staff was very courteous. Very conveniently located to a lot of local amenities.

This hotel is very clean. The pool was a lot of fun for both children and adults with the water slide. It offered a wonderful breakfast also. Very family friendly!

This hotel was very comfortable and friendly. The lobby had an interactive map that showed you area attractions in relation to the hotel which was very helpful. The hotel is non smoking, but the stairwell smelled of smoke and people smoked right by the doors. Breakfast was normal - cook your own waffles, donuts, watery OJ, bagels and toast. The hotel was unexpected. it was really clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly and is a place I would recommend and stay again.

Very happy with the hotel, only thing I would really change would be for it to be closer to Munising proper. Not that it's far away, only 2 miles. If you don't care about the scenery from your hotel directly it is a very nice clean hotel and good to take kids to.

We were just looking for something in a location that would meet our needs. The hotel was very clean - like new! Staff was very helpful. We liked the hotel very much.

I recommend this hotel to anyone. It is very clean. They have a pool with a kid and an adult slide. Great breakfast buffet. If you need anything there is a Pamida just across the parking lot. It is a prefect half-way point for me and my son.

Located on the outskirts of Munising, Michigan, along Lake Superior, the exterior of the motel with its lighthouse look was unique and inviting. The lobby area is open, airy and well-lighted, as well as tastefully decorated. Desks, sofas, and chairs are arranged for conversation or comfortable waiting. Our room and bathroom rated a 10 in cleanliness. Plenty of linens were provided, closet and hangers available, also a suitcase stand. Room was temperature-controlled by the guest. Coffee maker, tea, sugar, etc in the room and ice available near the room. We stayed during the 4th of July holiday so there were lots of families with children. Our room was quiet in spite of children running through the halls and being excited to enjoy the water slide in the indoor pool. The free breakfast was good, but difficult to get to the food. A bigger area is needed, much more seating and a better arrangement for serving the food. One suggestion: separate the drinks from the foods and further separate the foods into those needing preparation (i.e. the waffle maker) and those foods that can be simply selected before moving on (i.e. the hard boiled eggs, yogurt.) Also make guests aware of the best way to begin the process, getting plates, etc. Keep an orderly line at each station to reduce chaos and impolite barging between guests already moving through a food area.
