Clean and
courteous.
Heater was hammering. Hotel was cheap $50.00 but was tough to get good sleep with pipes.

Close to canal park and downtown.
The heating system was very loud and didn't work well.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was difficult to sleep at night because the heating system was extremely loud. We ended up having to shut it off in order to be able to sleep.

Price, pet were allowed, would have been convenient if there was no road construction.
Dirty road, great holes in it, no clear directions to restaurants.
No amenities but OK as a cheap way-station on your way up to or down from the north shore of lake superior, not a place to eat or spend time, near enough to walk to canal street restaurants in daylight.

Cheap.
Old, temperature was hot all the time.
This was OK because all we needed for the weekend was a place to sleep. I would not recommend it for a hang-out motel.

It was a place for us to sleep.
The breakfast wasn't that great.

Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Room was poorly heated.
In general, the hotel was in a run down state. The central heating was not performing as required and staff were issuing space heaters to clients, which were all given out prior to our registering so we were out of luck.

There was nothing that my finance or I enjoyed about this hotel.
The air didn't work, awful parking lot, musky smell and bad bed.
This hotel was awful. I would never stay here again. The parking lot is insane and when we arrived at midnight there were no spots so we had to park in a different parking lot near the back alley. It is not in a safe neighborhood. They only have window units for the air conditioners that worked the first night but then quit working. I would run the other way from this hotel.
