Location-close to shopping, restaurants, and hockey rink.
Did not dislike anything.

This motel met our needs for one night as a clean & comfortable place to stay while attending our daughter's college hockey games in Mankato. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, clean room, comfortable bed, swimming pool for my husband to get his exercise done while I got ready and good breakfast before we left for our daughter's motel and game on Saturday.

Was not able to get double beds as requested. Unable to cancel.

Normally stay at hotel next door for the same amount. This hotel did not compare at all! No sense of updated decorating style in lobby or rooms. Had to hope a cot was available for a senior member to sleep on as room I requested was not available per Manager. Will not stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and well equipped with iron, blow dryer etc.
They tried to put me in a smoking room--they finally switched me.

I was very disgusted with the front desk. I booked for two nights, but decided we would travel in the morning. I called to check in over the phone so that we would be able to get in our room when we arrived in the morning. When I did arrive, they said that a room was not available yet and that it would be a smoking room. They finally, gave me another room.

The desk clerk.

I called this hotel just minutes after reserving on Priceline, so we could get a non-smoking room.
Desk clerk
was so nice and helpful unlike other desk clerk we have done business with.
She was also the desk clerk on duty when we checked in. Once again she was so nice and helpful.
