The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jackson Coliseum is located within 6 blocks of the downtown business district. The city of Jackson is considered "The Crossroads of the South" and the hotel is located near that crossroads off of I-55 at exit 96B (High Street) adjacent to the Coliseum. Our five story, interior corridor hotel features 107 rooms (31 suites), free high-speed wireless internet access throughout the hotel, fitness center, business center, conference room, 4 Kids Suites, complimentary continental breakfast featuring our cinnamon rolls and SmartRoast coffee. For our guests comfort, we provide king beds in all rooms, 76 of which have two king beds. Room amenities include in-room coffee makers, iron/ironing board, 25-inch TVs with HBO, refrigerators, and hair dryers. The hotel is conveniently located by the Jackson Coliseum and Fairgrounds, State Capital, Jackson State, Belhaven and Millsaps Colleges, and Siemens. Area attractions include the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame Museum, Mississippi Arts Pavilion, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, MS Telecomm. Conference Center, Farish Street Historical District, and the Annual St. Paddy?s Day Parade, highlighted by the Sweet Potato Queens? Festival. Two king size beds!
I couldn't find a complaint if I needed one.

This hotel was awesome! Every staff member, including the cleaning service, met or exceeded my expectations. When I left the hotel I told my traveling partner that we needed to find a reason to stay there again because of the great experience!

A very good value for the money, the breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect.
Nothing bad that I can think of.

The staff was super helpful in giving directions to our further locations.The room was clean and large. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Smelly room and WiFi was down the whole time. Staff was inattentive at times.

I was really disappointed that the WiFi was down during my whole stay, since it was a deciding factor on my choosing this hotel in the first place. I needed it for business purposes and it was a great inconvenience not to have it up and running. The staff was apologetic, however there was seemingly no effort to get it fixed anytime in this century. The room was smelly, the carpet damp, the window in our room leaked and the exercise room smelled terrible. The breakfast was adequate. On a more positive note, one of the staff members went out of her way to get information about a tourist attraction in the area since the wifi was down. I did appreciate that very much. read more

The room was spacious and kid friendly.

The hotel was off the main interstate, and provided comfortable accommodations for me and my family. The breakfast even passed the kid test. The only thing I can say was very early in the morning there was a loud noise that we could not put our finger on (maybe construction) that lasted for about and hour or two. But other than that, this hotel met all of my families needs during our stay and the staff was very nice. We would stay there again and I would recommend it to others. read more
