This recently-built airporter delights travelers with its "free park-and-fly" deals, made all the better by "ample parking" and "helpful courtesy drivers" to and from the terminal; a "great housekeeping staff" maintains the "well-appointed" rooms that boast "brand-new", "elegant" furnishings and bedding, but while baths have "large showers", there are no tubs; other downsides include too-thin walls ("you can feel and hear when anyone walks by") and a location somewhat "far away from Kansas City."

We arrived fairly late at night as planned yet found the staff alert and courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a place to stay near KCI.

Good location near the KC Airport.
Bugs in the room (Lady bugs) and there are two Holiday Inns on the same street it was confusing.

Hotel overall was nice, restaurant was good. Good burgers and breakfasts. However there were bugs in the room. Every night I had to kill about a dozen lady bugs that would circle around my desk lamp.

The stool did not flush well.

This hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable, but not very large and did not have any place except the floor on which to put luggage. The stool did not flush well (it took 3-4 flushes to get toilet paper down). We did tell the front desk about it as we checked out and they did seem concerned and seemed to want to look into it. (We arrived at 10pm and checked out at 8 am so were ready for bed when this problem was discovered). read more

Terrible parking, little sense of physical safety, incompetent staff.

I met an incredibly rude front desk person at check-in; the desk was not staffed when I left at 8 am. The parking area was unsafe due to tolerated illegal parking and inadequate due to parking taken by the adjacent Expo Center traffic. I felt unsafe in the hotel while walking through the lobby, in the elevator, and in the hallway to my room. The armed police officer in the lobby confirmed my discomfort.
