"There may be more sparkle at other spots", but the majority agrees this "immense" staple of the Strip still "exudes elegance"; "rooms vary from classic" with "round beds" and "mirrored ceilings" to "state-of-the-art refurbished" in "the newer upscale towers", serviced by an "attentive" staff, while the Forum Shops are a "shopaholic's dream"; a few, however, liken this "zoo" to a "'50s cocktail waitress trapped in the '70s"; N.B. a new Octavius Tower is set for 2009.

The room was old and the view from the window was a wall.

The hotel itself is nice and is located in the middle of the strip. Expensive straight down to the $7.00 coffee. The front desk staff could use a little more cheer and seemed overworked.

No $5 dollar blackjack tables in the casino.

The hotel met all expectations. Staff was very helpful knowledgeable and accommodating.Our group had a fabulous time.I would most definitely return

Location, food, access to shopping mall, great machines.
The room had not been updated. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You had to use a credit card to activate the safe in the room.

The hotel is great - beautifully decorated for the holiday, kind and attentive staff, located in a great area of the strip.

Couldn't check in early, room was okay.

Hotel policy didn't let us check in early and they couldn't do anything about it because they were full, yet after our first lady we talked to was not friendly and told us they were booked, we went to another person, and he was friendly and switched things around so that we were able to check in early.
