Cleanliness, convenience, and cost.
Liked everything.

The Holiday Inn Express in Durham is perfectly situated for a visit to UNH. I spent only one night there, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Fresh, free apples at the front desk was a nice touch. The room was very clean and everything worked properly. The breakfast was Continental Plus and well presented. This is a great place to stay.

No pool and no major restaurants in the area.

Clean, breakfast area could be bigger - not enough tables for everyone. Had to sit in the lobby to eat and it was not very convenient.

No pool!

We didn't have the best experience at this hotel. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. At 830 am the cleaner knocked on our door to clean the room - we we still sleeping. We left the room at 11:30 am, we did not return until 7 pm, and the room had not been cleaned. No towels, full trash bins, the whole 9 yards. We spoke to the person at the front desk who told us that all cleaning is done by noon, therefore there was no way to clean the room at that point. So we asked for some fresh towels, and went back to our "messy" room. read more

Despite having to drive everywhere for anything, the hotel was very nice and not far from all locations I needed to be. I would stay there again because the value.

On our way to Maine, we stopped here. Out of the way, but the motel was fine. Clean, quiet, nice rooms, friendly staff, good place to stay if you don't mind the 10 mile detour from I-95.
