5-10 minute drive to beach, good alternative to pricier competitors.
Bathrooms weren't too great, our room smelled like a porto-potty.
I stayed here with my significant other. I would recommend this hotel if you are in need of a vacation but don't want to spend the money on a room closer to the beach. If you are looking for luxury or are planning on spending a lot of time in the room, I would not suggest this hotel. Overall, for two broke college students looking for somewhere to sleep after a day at the beach and a night on the Ocean city boardwalk, it's a good deal. read more

Very reasonable rates, acceptably clean, continental breakfast.
Continental breakfast was sparse but given the rate of the hotel a unexpected bonus even if somewhat limited. Hotel room was clean, all fixtures in working order. Free high speed internet terminal for checking email. At that rate, would definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff and the continental breakfast was nice.
Our clock didn't work in our room but we just used a cell phone to wake us and I am sure if we asked the staff, they would have provided another one.
The hotel is family friendly with a pool, fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room. The free continental breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Available for wedding in Ocean City on Labor Day.
Due to wedding events needed flexibility, got none.
Late forties or early fifties facility which had obviously been closed or near it, and refurbished somewhat recently. Office help were hired help, were uncooperative, would not give us a bill at check-out, and generally there to fill a spot. This definitely was not a Hilton experience, while all other stays during this trip were excellent.

Bathroom towel fixtures were broken and I cut my finger on one.
The shower soap tray was broken with sharp edges and I cut my finger on it. In the bathroom the towel bar was also broken with sharp edged. Other than that everything else was ok!

The bed and pillows were hard as a rock.
The mattress was almost as hard as the floor. The pillows were hard, too. You can buy more comfortable pillows for $5 at Kmart. Worst bed/pillows ever in my hotel experiences. I actually tried sleeping on the floor, but it was slightly more uncomfortable than the bed.

Friendly staff but difficult to understand.
The room had a odd odor and found a live cockroach crawling around.
I killed it and showed the staff.
I've been at this motel twice and our stay was ok, for what is, but very dissapointed this time. Quality took a nose dive.
