Location near train station which was 15 min to Manhattan.
No problems with the hotel.

The reviews I read about the Robert Treat included complaints about the location, safety, unfriendly staff, etc. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful, the rooms were newly remolded and clean. Also a new firm pillow top bed, fridge, safe, iron, free internet, free continental breakfast, free parking and basically all the amenities you would expect from a top notch hotel. I discovered we had a view of Manhattan the day of check out! read more

The room is kinda small, no much space there.

Basically, it is good to stay there, not expensive, and pretty close to public transportation to NYC. Free parking, free internet, free breakfast.

The accomdations of the room and the dining facilities far exceeded what my expectations were of a hotel in downtown Newark.
There was nothing I disliked about this hotel. Everything from it's location, to the parking, to the view of my room.

The staff, room, service and location of this hotel makes it a veritable oasis in the heart of the city as compared to staying on the side of the highway. I would recommend it to anyone wanting the experience of an excellent atmosphere while passing through.

Excellent location to take Path train, especially because of their shuttle service.
Breakfast was not that varied.

Great, friendly staff. Very convenient to travel to New York City.

The scenery of skyscrapers from my window.
The smell of stale smoke in my room.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed my stay. Other than the smoke sent in my room and sofa bed was missing. I have nothing to say negative. I would love to come back. God bless you all for the comfort stay.

This hotel was in a good location for what we needed, very clean, well appointed, nicely decorated, courteous staff, nice rooms, and very comfortable beds.
