Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Somers Point
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.January 4, 2010

It is clearly not a 2 star hotel. It is a shabby old motel with the EconoLodge sign slapped up outside. There were cigarette burns all over the tub, the trim stuck to the bathroom door every time you opened it and the walls were paper thin. Rooms smelled and were not even comfortable to sit in. The only plus was that the manager was very helpful and tried to make a terrible place seem better. ...

Good location. This hotel should just receive a 1 star, not the 2 star designation that priceline awarded it as.

The staff seemed friendly but the front lobby was hot and it took awhile for anyone to come to the front desk for check -in. I could not get online with the code I was given. The room appeared clean, but I observed the employee's child helping to clean the rooms. They appeared to wipe the windows down with towels from the soiled laundry. It was quiet at night. Had mixed feelings about this place. ...

The hotel was what we expected for a cheap, beach area motel. A little bit musty, damp, but clean. Bed wasn't great, but appropriate for a 2-star motel.
