The breakfast room was uncomfortable.
Well located to explore SE New Jersey, operator was very attentive to guest comfort.

Not a thing!
I disliked everything about this motel.
This was not a place for a single woman to be. The door only had one lock - chains had been broken off. Daylight showed all the way around the door.

Nothing good to say.
The location was awful. The room's wall paper was falling off.
This is a very old hotel badly in need of a renovation in a neighborhood that did not allow me to feel safe.

Nothing good.
Dirtiest inn I have ever stayed.
Somehow, when we booked online, I didn't see the option about smoking or non. They gave me a smoking room though I don't smoke. We hesitated a while when we saw the condition of the smelly room. The staff warned us that every hotel should be full by that time (9:30 PM during labor day weekend). Finally, we decided to stay, but it was an awful decision. Firstly, this is the dirtiest inn I have ever stayed. Also, the worst smoking room I have ever stayed (I have ever stayed in smoking room of roadway inn in Niagara, but it wasn't so bad.) Secondly, they rented out a ball room so it was noisy until midnight. Thirdly, a stranger other than customers wandered outside our room and asked for money. My husband and I could barely have a sleep. We left early in the morning because we didn't want to spend anymore time there. read more

Dirty & dangerous.
Men harrassing people as they walked on the motel grounds/parking lot. Filthy grounds. Yelling, loud music didn't even go to the room after checking in- left in a hurry & stayed at a hotel down the road that was in a safer area. Returned the next day during daylight hours to return room card key- did not want to risk another minute at the location at night.

There was cable TV.
Too many roaches in the room.
When we arrived at the hotel at about 11:20p.m. there was a party going on in the "ballroom" which happened to be next to our room. It was very loud, and the staff promised it would be over in about 1/2 hour (it was over by 12). The amount of roaches inside the room was too much, however, but we were so exhausted we did not see them until early the next morning, when we were checking out. I have used the chain for many years across the country since 1990 and this was the first time I have EVER seen roaches in ANY hotel, ever! I still haven't gotten over it yet, and will call the chain. The price also was very high, ($69) and was the highest 'discount' price I've ever paid for the chain! (usually $29-$49). read more

The place should be burned to the ground and get rid of the cockroaches and start over.
The place was a pig style and over priced.
The people said our cc was declined and it worked fine for the rest of our vacation, then they made Me pay for a room that was filthy and wouldn't do any better than a 25$ rebate on another room...yeah right, like I will ever stay at another EconoLodge~
