The neighborhood was not good for evening walks.

The rooms had high quality beds and large TV's. Breakfast had a nice variety including make you own waffles. A free shuttle is available upon request.

This hotel has potential and it seems there have been some upgrades, but but overall it's still dumpy. We first noticed the dirty, disparate for a paint job, external building. The lobby is dull and tired. All carpet in the entire facility should be replaced. The shower floor was not stable at all, It seemed like you were standing on loose rotted planks. The shower also did not drain so the entire time your standing in water. The pool was of nice size but the green walls prevented us from wanting to take a dip. The front desk staff were a couple young men who were less than cordial and lacked customer service skills. read more

Somewhat threatening part of town late night.

Hotel was nicely outfitted with super clean linen! Everything was in good repair.

The special beds were very comfortable and the big screen
TV was fun.
The main street was a little noisy along the south side on cruising Sunday night.

The Hotel Blue is located within a quick walk of the Convention center for my business. I enjoyed walking through this main downtown with many restaurants and other attractions. I really got a good nights sleep and was launched with the light breakfast they offered. I highly recommend the facility, it was not so stuffy as the major hotels I visited in town on my stay for meetings and events. read more
