Angel Fire Resort

The hotel is in a nice area, surrounded by mountains. That is about all the good I can say. The staff was uninterested, and unwilling to assist with any requests for information about surrounding activates, dining, etc. All inquiries were referred to the Brochure Rack. The room service arrived at 8:00 am, so when we asked them to return later, they did not, so our room was not serviced for 3 days. When checking in, it took them 5 to 10 minutes to come to the front desk and check us in and they were not friendly or glad that we were there. When we checked out, it took another 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, and only after an employee walked by and made them aware someone was at the front desk. A beautiful place, but not a place that makes you feel welcome or any appreciation for your stay. We have stayed at other resorts in the winter for our daughter to go snowboarding and enjoy the area, but we would not recommend this resort to any of our friends or enemies. They really need to work on their customer service, which I would be willing to help with. read more

Excellent accommodations, traveling with pet. Definitely would stay again.

Large rooms with plenty of cabinets and closet space. Peaceful and quiet. Overall great place to stay. The pool and hot tub are closed for renovations as of 6/14/07.
