Perfect location to the Plaza. (Free shuttle!) Cozy & comfortable. So Santa Fe!
Everything was PERFECT except our hubcaps were stolen out of the parking lot. Security would be nice.

There is no doubt you are in Santa Fe when you are in the room. Its beautiful, yet homey. The bed and bedding could be better. The staff was kind and helpful and accessible. I will definitely return to this hotel, but I hope they consider hiring a security guard for the parking lot.

Nice fireplace area/lobby and the shuttle service is great.
Views are weak at best and mostly parking lot/ugly buildings.

Very nice staff. Good but not a great location. Great shuttle service to and from town.

The hotel is well located close to attractions and has an excellent restaurant.
You have to stay in a suite the average room size is an uncomfortable joke- so you have to pay for an upgrade and hope its available.

Overall, the Hotel Santa Fe is very pleasant and the people are very nice. However, when we first got there and our room was the size of a walk in closet I was extremely angry and upset. There is no way 2 people could spend 5 days in this space. We upgraded to a suite at an additional cost and then we had a great time. The restaurant has wonderful food and good prices. The pool and hot tub are also substandard. However. With a suite, and the great walking distance to the Plaza, train. and Farmers Market we had a really good time. It is clean and staff is polite and pleasant. I just wish that the price we were quoted was for the suite since a standard room is barely enough for one person. Two people could not even both sit on chairs and eat a meal in the average room. It was very upsetting and not up to standards. I would start all visitors at the suite level because that is the basic standard of the average hotel. read more

the ambiance, the location

Hotel Santa Fe is in a great location in Santa Fe, but because it is not directly on the Plaza, room are more readily available, and at a better price. It IS within walking distance of Plaza. I also like that this is one of the few hotels in Santa Fe operated by a local Tribe. I have stayed at this hotel for business and pleasure, and have not been disappointed. The architecture is Pueblo style, and the interiors are beautiful. There is also a back portion "The Hacienda" that is much more up-scale; suites, with personal butlers available. read more
