Location was convenient to shopping and eating.
Breakfast/lobby area was tiny! Way too small for the number of guests trying to have breakfast each morning.

Stayed for 4 nights. Beds were very comfortable, overall room was clean, but bathroom had some build up in the corners. Came back to room at the end of the day to find our door propped open - evidently by the housekeeping crew. Luckily, nothing was missing but was very disappointing. We had 3 people in our party and on our reservation, yet were left only two sets of towels repeatedly. read more

There was great dining and shopping close by.
No Jacuzzi suites.

Overall this was a very nice hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a romantic getaway simply because there is only view of the highway and the single rooms are not all that big. For business travelers and small families I would definitely recommend staying here.

The location is terrific. Convenient to shopping and restaurants and it is less than a mile off 481.
No towels in the pool area and only 2 in the room left me using wet towels for my shower.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. My daughter is a student at SUNY Oswego and I travel to Syracuse on business. This hotel is the perfect place to get work done and also unwind in the spa with my daughter.

This hotel has only one elevator which is located at the end, rather than the center, of the building. It was a long walk from the elevator to my room.

The Fairfield Inn Clay NY is a clean, modern hotel which fulfills all expectations of a two-star hotel, and indeed has many aspects of a three-star rating. It is conveniently located right off Rt 481, making it suitable for anyone wishing to stay in the Syracuse-Fulton-Oswego corridor. The indoor swimming pool looked very inviting, so be sure to bring your swimsuit!
