Staff was helpful on the phone in correcting my non-smoking room preference.
The key card to 1 of the rooms failed to work consistently. Never was corrected in our stay.

Needs updating/re-furbishing. Security was lax. Room numbers were written on key card envelops. When my key card failed to work, I was able to get another at the front desk without giving my name or ID to the clerk. This is a 2 story hotel with no elevator, which made moving luggage a struggle.

Room was newer and very clean.
No elevator.

Even without an elevator the hotel met my expectations. The room and especially the bathroom was newer and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fluffy and comfortable.
