The Americas Best Value Inn of Geneva, New York is located in the heart of Finger Lake Wine Country. Many wineries and vineyards are close by. There is also a golf course within walking distance of the property. Seneca Lake and Hobart and William Smith College are also nearby. We offer kitchenette suites and jacuzzi guest rooms, in addition to our standard rooms. Here at the Americas Best Value Inn we serve a free continental breakfast *May 1st thru Nov 15th* each morning. All guest rooms and suites feature free wireless high-speed Internet access, microwave, mini-fridge, cable TV with HBO, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, free local calls, and wake-up service. Our lobby and front desk stay open 24 hours. For our business travelers, we offer fax/copy service. You can relax in our outdoor picnic area with commercial barbeque grill. Bathroom had cracked tile, caulking and dingy.

It was adequate for the price but would not stay at a America's best hotel again. The person at front desk didn't even know the location on the lake and we had to call twice to get better directions to find the hotel.

Could not turn hot water off in sink, wood screw held toilet lid on.

The plaster was in need of repair. The hot water would not shut off in the sink. Our door had been open at some time and never repaired. No clock in the room. The drapes needed repair along with the rod that held them. A wood screw held the toilet cover on. The room was clean and the bed was good. Will not stay there again.

It was comfortable, good location, and clean.

I have used this hotel several times. It is a good place to stay. The prices are very reasonable.

It was handy to have our van parked at our door. No stairs or hall ways.
Unfortunately there was a dog show in the area and all the owners and dogs were up early(6) every morning of our stay.

The bathroom was not a happy place. Both tub/shower and toilet were old and stained. There were black stains in the corners of the shower and the shower curtain was not clean. We were a party of 4 and every day we had to request a 4th set of towels. However there was a micro wave and mini fridge in the room.

The room was dark & dank, smelled badly (along with the corridors), the shower had mold on the tiles. This place deserves NO stars. And beware of the cancellation charge: cancellations must be made 2 DAYS in advance (i.e., before you've even seen the place). Most motels/hotels allow cancellation up to 6 PM of the day of arrival. Only 4 rooms were occupied out of about 150; no wonder! I would not recommend anyone staying at this place. read more

Unclean, door bolt lock did not work, no light working on switch by front door, inconvenient bathroom light switch.

I was in a group who rented 10 rooms. My cousin bought her own bathroom cleaner and most everybody felt the need to clean their own bathrooms. My elderly aunt was unable to locate the bathroom light switch, which is a tiny toggle on the outlet and was covered by the hairdryer cord hanging over it. The breakfast area was not clean; there were flies as the front door to the lobby was propped open. I did not want to get juice from the dispenser as there was a bee hovering around it. The trash can right next to the food was overflowing. We would never stay at this hotel again. read more

Good price for a holiday weekend and close to food stops and Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
No elevator to second floor. Limited continental breakfast in dated public room/lobby.

Good location with some amenities such as micro fridge and reportedly free Wi-Fi. But property is dated with high staff turnover and dated rooms and public areas. Acceptable for a stay if low-priced.
