Fairly convenient and nice TV.
In basement level, it is cold.
OK, but would like to have access to rooms on upper levels and those with fireplaces, even for more money.

Location! Right in the heart of Lake Placid. Beautiful view from restaurant. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor, upscale lodge like setting.

Teenage hockey players ran amuck.
Great except for the teenage hockey players ruined one night running through the halls, throwing ice. The pool that night was unuseable.

This hotel's view of the lake and mountains is breath taking.
I'm sorry we could only stay one day.

Great location, very nice view of the lake if you were on the front side, and mountain view on the back.
Rooms can be very far from elevators.
Located easy walk on top of the hill overlooking Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, good parking, very clean, nice lobby and lounge as well as pool area. Appeared to be pet friendly as we saw some dogs.

I loved the great room with it's Adirondack theme.
Breakfast is high fat, high crab. But that's most hotel breakfasts.
Lovely place, good service, I felt wonderful being there.

Beautiful large room/lounge off the lobby that overlooked the town and lake of Lake Placid.
Felt like hotel was not full but we were given a room in the older section with view from balcony blocked by large tree.
The hotel's main lobby and great room off the lobby have a beautiful lodge atmosphere for which the Adirondacks are known. There are two wings that are an older section that are more ordinary and non-descriptive. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
