The hotel has undergone many upgrades and is now ready for business as an upscale hotel. It was very attractive and it was very quiet. It featured shuttle service to and from the airport and points of interest. It is locate right off the high way.

Easy to get to, friendly staff.
Undergoing massive renovations, complete with signs warning of asbestos abatement. Was put in smoking room, even though we both are terribly allergic.

Hotel was undergoing renovations but it shouldn't interfere with our stay. It was the weekend of Syracuse University graduation, so there were no other hotels. We had no choice at this point but to stay there. Upon check-in, we walked past plywood walls and were met with signs warning us that asbestos abatement was taking place. Great. The front desk was a makeshift banquet table and folding chairs. The staff was friendly, but you could tell this was an inconvenience to them as well. We got to our room, and it was on a smoking floor. Both my husband and I have severe allergies and when we asked to be moved to a non-smoking floor we were told there were none available. The entire floor reeked of stale smoke. I tried to open a filthy window, but it didn't budge. We pretty much just dropped our things off and went out for the evening. Oh, we did order a quick bite to eat from room service- chicken finger were fine, but my husband's shrimp cocktail tasted and smelled like it had gone bad. He didn't eat it. We came back for the evening and went to sleep. Woke up early because the stale smoke smell was making us both ill. It was in the pillows, curtains, carpets and in our hair from sleeping on the pillows. We had to leave early because we were both sick from the smoke. read more

It was convenient to I-90.
Under construction so it was just barely habitable and not good at all.

This hotel was under construction so it was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. There was constant hammering and dust and loud noise. At 7 AM works were outside my door, talking loudly and dragging furniture and stuff loudly down the hallway. The front desk was surrounded by plywood and one had to dodge construction workers to get out of the building. The so called restaurant had been moved to a meeting room so it was not really a restaurant. read more

Hotel under construction, problem with door locks, problems in room.

Hotel not advertised and priced based on conditions, under long term construction, jack hammers in the early morning, door key cards did not function properly, passenger elevators constantly used for construction/renovation.

Location.
Under renovation/construction.

Hotel in under construction/renovation. Walls in public areas are plywood. There is not a proper restaurant and lounge. The tables they set up in the ballroom are a joke. Staff was rude. Left for another hotel.

Nothing.
This was the dirtiest, stinkiest hotel I've ever visited. It was appalling.

Not enough regular coffee in room.

Service was very friendly. Had to go to service desk in mornings to get regular coffee for room. 2 adults in room, only 1 regular coffee, 1 decaf.

Staff tried to fix the problems.
Dirty room, bad food in restaurant, no smoking rooms were unavailabel

Bad trip. There was a convention in the hotel so it was over crowded. The hotel is under construction -- parking lot was over filled. Did not have a non smoking room and the room was dirty.
