The staff seemed very courteous.
The elevator was extremely slow.
This was a decent hotel for a quick trip. The location was good as you could walk to Times Square, etc. The decor and accomodations were adequate. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was nothing special but it was very clean.

Cleanliness, easy to access, not overcrowded and
free internet.
Quick, easy, safe, clean -- but poor elevator. Room was on small side, like so many of NYC rooms.

Close to parking, close to theater, neat and clean.
Basement rooms are less than optimal.

Very good location and relatively inexpensive.
Subterranean room and stained bedspread.
The price was below my expectations for New York so I was suspicious to begin with
and my suspicions were confirmed with a subterranean room and heavily stained bedspread. The cost savings won't add up to a repeat visit.

Beautifully remodeled room & a bit larger than I expected.
Only one elevator which was briefly out of service.
Very nicely remodeled and very friendly front desk. Free breakfast, though the dining area was a little crowded. The room was spotless and everything was brand new.

Clean, convenient, and friendly.
Bathroom is a bit small. A larger person would have difficulty using the toilet with the door closed.
Clean, convenient, friendly, close to the theater district.

The cleanness of the hotel and the staff very helpful.
Rooms labeled 1st floor were in the basement with all the other employees.
This was quite hotel for location, room and friendly staff. The only downside is the rooms being on the basement floor near where all the laundry, food services, etc. are located. It was noisy early in the morning and the view outside the window as the air condition unit.

The staff at the Comfort Inn on 44th street in New York has the best staff I have ever encountered in all of the many hotels in which I have stayed.
The hotel is central to everything in the Times square area. It is impeccably clean. Brilliantly maintained. Charmingly decorated and designed. Guest friendly. And the staff is unique in its perfection.
