A small lobby with a geometrically patterned banquette and contemporary art welcomes guests to this comfortable hotel, which was built in the 1970's as an apartment house. The room was much larger than I expected.
No restaurant.

A very clean, quiet place to stay.

The location was ot bad and it was a safe area.
It was old and in great need of an upgrade on decorations and furniture.

. No public areas except a very tiny lobby. Not what you would expect for $160 per night.

The room was large with a seating area.

Staff was friendly. Having a kitchen is very convenient and the reading area was great to relax in before retiring for the night. It is close to Grand Central Station and restaurants.

The staff was very accommodating with reservation error.
Rooms were fine but not great- seemed a little stale. Reservation was incorrect.

The best part of the hotel was the staff - they were very helpful. There was an error in my reservation (smaller room was reserved than needed) and did their best to remedy the problem.

Location and the room. It had a kitchenette and was spacious.
The bathroom had a window that did not have a curtain or anything to cover it with. We had to put towels to cover it.

Very good location and spacious rooms. The only thing we didn't like is that the bathroom (the shower) had a window that wasn't covered.

Central location.
Dirty.

The hotel was centrally located. The lobby seemed dirty and old as did the rooms.
