Location and rec. for dinner by concierge.
One of our room was much too hot and nothing was done to resolve problem.
While the hotel has been recently refurbished, it seems the infrastructure has not been updated. The heating and cooling system was not adjustable and while all 3 rooms were too warm, one was just unbearable and despite complaining, nothing was done.

Staff was excellent in assisting us with check-in.
Water in the shower went from hot to cold.
Very close to everything the Upper West Side has to offer and a great price. Right across from the American Museum of Natural History. Parking available there as well.

Leaving, check-out.
Rude people.
If you stay at this hotel, do not expect to be treated with friendliness or respect.

Excellent location.
Cleanliness good but not excellent.
Fantastic location right near Central Park and Museum of Natural History. They upgraded us to a 2 room suite at no extra charge. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Concierge service was great -- very helpful and courteous; location was very good; convenient to subway.
Elevators were a problem; no complimentary breakfast or coffee.
Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. The staff was pleasant. The room was comfortable (we were given an upgrade at no extra charge). The bathroom was a little crowded, but adequate. Free coffee would have been nice. There is no parking at the hotel, but they did have an arrangement with the Museum of Natural History across the street. The only real problem had to do with the elevators. When we arrived, one was out of service and it had not been repaired by the time we checked out. Additionally, the other elevator was out of service briefly on the day we checked out. There was a service elevator available at that time. read more

Nice view.
There is no in room coffee.
This is a great hotel if you want to be close to Central Park. It was the perfect location for me to attend the concert on the Great Lawn.

Cozy, warm atmosphere w/more privacy than larger hotels.
Very warm boutique feel to lobby, room was very nicely appointed and not too small for NYC. Wonderful upper west side location. Newly renovated bathroom and appliances and very, clean. Hotel was very quiet and a very welcoming concierge as well.
