The desk clerks were friendly, helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to the business facility I required and several restaurants. Bathrooms nice.
Rooms are small, but typical for NYC. Not much security.
For the price I received at Priceline and the purpose of my visit, I am satisfied with this hotel. It was clean. I would return and I do recommend it to others, so long as they are aware of its location in the city and the likely need to take a cab to many tourist destinations. I would return on my next business trip. It is recommended as a clean, comfortable and relatively economical place to stay. read more

It was clean and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good.
My room was next to the room containing some kind of airconditioning machinery and there was a constant noise coming from it.
The Hampton Inn Soho is a fairly new hotel and (for the time being!)this probably enhances its clean, fresh look. My room (containing one king bed) was small but not tiny, with a pleasant decor. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The one downside for me was the terrible, constant noise in my room, coming from a room next door that contained some kind old machinery. I don't think I have stayed in a hotel before where this level of constant background noise would be considered acceptable. Fortunately I always bring along earplugs to hotels, but had it not been for these it would have been unbearable at night. read more

Room was a bit tight.
First hotel review for me. I REALLY liked this hotel. Convenient to the subway, very clean, only 1 year old (built 2008). The hotel staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit cramped as was the bathroom, but otherwise well-appointed. I would DEFINITELY return again!

Great location and great hotel !
Hotel was great ! We arrived early, rooms were not ready yet, but we were able to drop off luggage at no charge and do some sightseeing. Room was small, but really enough for us. The bed was awesome ! so comfortable ! I already miss it ! The staff was also really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel !

This hotel was new and clean, the rooms were very nice and they offer free breakfast.
SoHo is a bit far from midtown where most of the action is for tourists.
This hotel was new and clean. The rooms were spacious and everything appeared to be brand new. I got in rather late and was asleep within the hour. I saved time the next morning because the hotel offers free breakfast, including canadian bacon and an egg dish. The only drawback was a lack of free wi-fi in the rooms. This seems to be a trend with hotels lately, trying to charge for wi-fi in the rooms, instead of offering it as a perk. In fact I think the room internet is wired only. They do offer free wi-fi in the lobby, but I really prefer free wi-fi in the room. That perk would be enough to choose a different place for me. The hotel staff were polite and pleasant read more
