Comfortable hotel in a central location with very friendly, helpful staff, with many nearby amenities.
Small room, but this is Manhattan after all. Overly insistent housekeeper in AM.
Upsides: clean, modern room with free internet in a great holiday-shopping location (Herald Square and Macy's, with Times Square nearby) and friendly, helpful front-desk staff. By Manhattan standards, affordable. Downsides: small room (it's Manhattan) and in my case an overly persistent housekeeper in the morning.

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
There really wasn't anything I didn't like.
The hotel is conveniently located, just a block from Macy's and walking distances from Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Empire State Building. The hotel was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was friendly. We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel.

It has a great location right next to Herald Square. Only a few steps from the subway station. The hotel was very nice on the inside, will stay there again.
View from my hotel window was an office building but in NY what do you expect.
Hampton Inn was great. It was clean and the room was updated. There was a breakfast in the morning and a short walk to the subway station and Herald Square. Great hotel!
