Everything, a total surprise. What a gem, the terrace, the lobby. Cant say enough.
Loved everything. Not a bad word to say.
I
was a little scared of this place because
I booked on Priceline and had no idea of what
I was buying. I could not have picked a better place to stay, the hotel was beautiful, terrace, library and rooms all wonderful, a true gem. Will recommend and stay again. Staff was great.

Location was great for our purposes.
Incredibly small room.
I have never been in a smaller room other than on a cruise ship and most of those were bigger. Would probably be OK for one but way too crowded for two. No place for luggage and hardly room to walk around. The bathroom was worse. no space for toiletries and what's with the window in the shower looking into the bedroom. Strange and way overpriced.

Clean, and a modern design.
Space (but this is NYC).
The small, modern hotel room was sufficient for a couple of nights for two people. The rooms are very small but I guess that's to be expected in New York. We were on the top floor so water pressure was non-existent. There was also a nightclub in the hotel. Had we been on a lower floor it could have been quite noisy late at night. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean so for the price it was worthwhile. read more

Trendy/ beautiful library etc.
Rooms as small as walking closet.
Loved hotel as very trendy. If weather had been nicer rooftop area is beautiful. As was very expensive for drink $18 glass wine in any area. Seemed very popular for nightclub area.

Great location!
Tiny room, only warm water baths and smelly hallways.
This hotel has a great location. Our room was very small- good thing we were mostly out of it touring the city. The staff was friendly and helpful enough. We only had warm water in the bath-no hot water. The hotel was updated some time back and it shows- the hallways are dark and a bit damp, musty smelling.

Great design and decor.
All in room lighting so dim that reading in bed is impossible.
Smart, hip, and happening. Outstanding public spaces. Well designed and interesting. Good service.

Location in Manhattan. Period.
Very tiny tiny rooms, over-rated, no sound or weather proof windows.
First glimpse, you think it’s a fancy hotel, but wait till you get to your room. A queen bed with only 2 feet around. That's it. Barely any space to move or even walk through the room. Even the toilet is so small, cannot fit the average adult person. I think if I was taller than 6 feet, or heavier then 250 lbs, I literally would not fit to set on the toilet. The room windows were neither weather, nor noise proof. You can feel the cold breeze come down on the bed, and hear all the emergency vehicles outside, exactly if you were lying sleep on the side of the street. The thermostat was available in the room, but obviously was giving heat only, so when it was on, the room was boiling, and we were caught between the boiling room, and very cold October breeze from the leaky windows to the outside. We had our neighbor in the next room complain of the same issues, the next morning. read more

Surpassed our expectations.
The toilet was too close to the wall.

Beautiful lobby and great location.
Tiny rooms and smallest I have ever experienced.
Great location, friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms, expensive lounge and rooms are tiny.
