We were placed in a room stuck between the hotel laundry room, ice making room and janator rooms. Whenever we came out of the room we had to look at big wheel bins, no functional smoke alarm in the room, the cover and battery had been removed. Lampshade all torn up.

Nice and clean inside. Beds can be updated, but not bad.
Hotel is located in a kind of bad part of town. Also $16 dollars for uncovered parking.

Hotel is nice in the inside. Everything seems clean and people at the front desk are helpful. I arrived there around 2am and was able to get a bell man help me with our bags, after his smoke break. I met the manager when I checked out and was very nice. I inquired about the drag racing, and he thought that it stopped. I told him it didn't.

The pictures shown are misleading. The area is not save, there is no parking in the area. I had stayed in this hotel twice and they are always booked and they do not have any rooms available. They give you whatever they have available which is not what I pay for. The beds have dents and there are strong smells.

Great staff, supportive and responsive!

A quick summary of what happened to us in Hilton JFK - amazing staff assistance:We've arrived to JFK airport, and the shuttle driver picked our luggage to the van.By mistake - the handle of one of our suitcases was broken, in a way that didn't allow us using it anymore.When we got to the hotel we talked to David, saying that the handle is broken, tomorrow we're flying to Mexico, and we don't know what to do (it was almost 19:00, flight was scheduled to 08:00 the next morning).The driver was so kind, got into the manager's office, talked to him for a couple of minutes, got back and said that he'll help us carry the broken suitcase to our room and that he'll make sure we will get a replacement.5 minutes after we are in our room - we got a call from the front desk, asking whether we want the exact suitcase brand, or just one in the same size.After coming back from dinner we got into our room, and a brand new suitcase was there, including a personal letter from the manager.You cannot imagine how suprized, happy and greatful we were at that moment. read more

Clean and comfy beds.
Small swimming pool no jacuzzi and poor pool hours.

We stayed at the hotel for a very short night (our flight got in a 1AM and we left by 10AM) the beds were super comfortable the room was cozy. The pool hours sucked (11 AM-9PM) and was a very small pool. There was no room service for tea/small snack at 1AM and we expected that for the price. o

Convenience. Close to JFK airport and free shuttle service to and from the airport.
Nothing to complain about.

The surrounding are not great but if you are just crashing for the night and you get in late from your flight it is great because of the free shuttle to the hotel and free shuttle back to the airport. I wouldn't stay there if I was there for more than that though.
