I received my wake-up call on time.
The attitude of its management and staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, the bathroom, and the breakfast.
Upon check-in, the front desk clerk tried to give us a handicapped room with a single full-size bed (when the reservation was for two people)next to the elevator and across from the ice machine. The room also had a broken TV and a non-working phone. Only after a call was made to Marriott's customer service and the agent there intervened on our behalf, were we finally given the correct room with a king-size bed (a bed that actually sleeps two) per my Marriott rewards profile. So the next day, there were still several problems in the room: the handle fell off the sink from the rod that fills the sink and the periodically running toilet (stuck handle). But then as my husband went to relax in a warm bath, he saw the absolutely disgusting black mold growing underneath the soap holder on the wall of the shower area. So having had the pleasure of being in two very different rooms at this Fairfield Inn, it is still very apparent that the property is not very well cared for even though it has been recently renovated and has a more contemporary appearance. Then there's the attitude and behavior of this hotel's management and staff - a complete lack of customer service that I have encountered at this property several times in the past. I was obviously intentionally given false information that they had no king rooms upon check-in! But the previously mentioned call to Marriott's customer service proved the front desk clerk was lying. All while the sign that hangs on the wall just beside the front desk indicates that all of the above is unacceptable. read more

Staff was accommodating.
I would recommend it for any traveler who want to stay at a clean and safe place for a very reasonable price (for the NYC area particularly).

The friendly staff and cleanliness of the room.
Coffee maker didn't work.
I recommend this hotel because the room is a good size, it is clean, the staff is friendly, they offer a nice breakfast, and have a fitness room.

New renovations inside the building and bedrooms.
The single full-size bed in the room.
The hotel seemed to have been going under renovations. The location was behind Target, which was not easily seen from the highway or the exit.

Continental breakfast was plentiful and clearly marked what food was kosher.
I booked a room
for 2 people, but the bed was just a double - too small for 2 people.

Outside pool was nice.
The breakfast area was small.
The hotel was just fair. Nothing special. The breakfast area was very small and people were falling over one another. The gym should not be called that, it was a small room with 3 steppers.
