The hotel smelled awful, even for a smoking room. The free wireless was non-existent and when I asked the hotel manager about it he didn't seem to care. The staff was good and the location is convenient, but the aforementioned problems significantly hindered the experience.

This hotel was close to the funeral we were attending.
It was dirty, smelly and old. The shower head was only about 5 ft high the floors were filthy and we did not feel safe.
This hotel was dirty. Not what
I expected from an acknowledge. They are usually clean.

Offered several cable
TV stations and provided extra towels.
All rooms opened onto the street. No interior rooms.
It met our needs for the night, but was very noisy and loud during the night (after 1:00am).

The lady who checked us in was very friendly.
Room smelled like smoke; beds uncomfortable; environment unsafe.
We had a very good check-in. However, the room smelled really bad of smoke when we entered it. There were burn marks from cigarettes all over the sink and the general appearance was dirty. Also, the bed was super uncomfortable and I barely slept. Also, in the middle of the night, the fridge made such loud noises that it only helped keep us awake. There were too many people outside on the patio during the night just hanging around being loud, with nobody doing anything about it. Not impressed with Econo Lodge at all. Will not return. read more

Nothing.
Bad customer service, unkempt rooms, not attractive.
I was disappointed in the state of the carpet, not vacuumed, it looks like for weeks, the toilet was not working properly, kept making noises and the sheets were not clean. I arrived at around 11 pm with 2 children, who were tired from the drive. I was disgusted that I had to call the desk to request clean sheets for a bed that should have been clean in the first place. When I made my request to get sheets, I was asked to wait about 10 minutes then they would call me back, after 20 minutes I called back to find out they didn't have sheets for me and they wanted to change my room. This could not be done as I was the only adult with 2 sleeping children at 11:45 at night! This was such an inconvenience. read more

Location was close to all downtown activities.
A bit too Spartan.
Good value for a room in a downtown hotel with easy connections to all areas of Syracuse. Both cable and wireless internet that were free. Small and simple continental breakfast in lobby.

Location and staff was friendly.
Room was not that nice.
Location was five easy minutes from SU campus and short drive to good selection of restaurants, but nothing within safe walking distance. Room was shabby, and would have been OK except I didnt' realize it was smoking, it smelled badly.
