The staff did an excellent job in taking care of us and the rooms. Plenty of towels and good service.
The locks needed to be replaced on the sliding glass doors and we had difficulty entering the outside building doors due to the bad locks.

The hotel was located close to nearby attractions and to a church we wanted to attend. However, we were really unhappy with the locks on the sliding glass doors and to the outside entrance of the building. Our individual room door locks were great and were card entry. The beds were good and we had plenty of towels. The rooms also provided patio (ground floor) and balconies which we needed because spouse smokes and we wanted a non-smoking room. We had coffee, hairdryers and irons provided. Some rooms have refrigerators. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on the premise or at least for breakfast. We left early and ate elsewhere, but it is a nice option. Most people ate at the restaurant. We would gladly stay again and recommend to friends visiting in that area IF the locks were fixed or we stayed on a second floor level. We came in on Thursday and left on Monday. read more

It had a balcony/patio for every room. We had some smokers in our group so they could step out there to smoke instead of going out to a lobby.
It looked really old and needs some renovations.

The rooms were clean but the hallway smelled funny. Mainly like an old place. It needs renovations but it was a good price and we felt safe. We were looking for cheap and close to Biltmore house. We also wanted balconies for our smokers.

Large rooms.
Rundown.

The hotel was probably really nice at one time, but current maintenance of the building and grounds has been neglected.

To much junk for sale in the lobby. Neds better lobby for sitting around and meeting people.

Very peculiar layout, but does not affect the amenities, except for the lobby. Excellent location. Nice room.

Convenient location.
Old. Sliding door to patio had to be put back on track and seemed to let a lot of cold air in all though room temp was good with heat on.

Great location. Old building. Hallways smelled funny but rooms were ok. Queen size beds a plus.
